By accessing or using FinnAdvisor you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You must be at least 18 years old to use FinnAdvisor. By creating an account you represent that you meet this requirement.
You are permitted to hold one account per person. Accounts must not be shared or transferred. You are responsible for all activity that takes place under your account.
You may sign in using a one-time email link (magic link) or a password. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

Plan limits are valid for the period shown in the table above: 3 months for Starter, 6 months for Standard, 12 months for Extra, and 30 days for the free trial. Unused analyses do not carry over. Your cases remain available in your account after the pack expires. Saved case content is deleted 24 months after your last sign-in, with an email 3 months beforehand; for free trial accounts the period is 1 month. See Privacy Policy §8.
FinnAdvisor reserves the right to update pricing with at least 30 days' written notice. Price changes do not affect packages already purchased.
Payments for paid plans are processed by Stripe. By purchasing a paid plan you authorise Stripe to charge your payment method on a one-time purchase basis.
FinnAdvisor does not store your payment card details. All payment information is handled directly by Stripe and subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
No VAT is added: FinnAdvisor is not in the Finnish VAT register, so the price shown is the total price. Stripe provides a receipt after each payment.
If you are a consumer residing in the EU or EEA, you have the right under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and Finnish Consumer Protection Act to withdraw from a paid purchase contract within 14 days of entering into the contract, without giving any reason.
Important — waiver of withdrawal right for digital services: FinnAdvisor's paid plan is a digital service that begins immediately upon payment. By completing your purchase, you expressly request that we begin providing the service immediately, and you acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the service has commenced, in accordance with Art. 16(m) of the Consumer Rights Directive and KSL Chapter 6 §14.
If you have not yet used the service after purchasing, you retain your 14-day right of withdrawal and may request a full refund within that period by contacting support@finnadvisor.fi.
Notify us by email at support@finnadvisor.fi with the subject line "Withdrawal Notice" before the 14-day period expires. Model statement: "I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my FinnAdvisor purchase contract. Purchase date: [DATE]. Name: [YOUR NAME]. Email: [YOUR EMAIL]."
We will process any applicable refund within 14 days using the same payment method.
You may contact support@finnadvisor.fi at any time regarding your account. Once a package is purchased, your plan remains active until your case and search limits are used or until the 3-month validity period expires, after which your account reverts to the Free Trial plan.
Refund policy: Subject to your statutory right of withdrawal described in Section 6, we do not offer refunds for unused cases or searches once the service has been used.
If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us within 14 days of the charge. Your statutory rights are not affected by this refund policy.

FinnAdvisor reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these obligations, subject to applicable consumer protection law.
You retain all rights to the case descriptions and information you submit to FinnAdvisor. By submitting content you grant FinnAdvisor a limited, non-exclusive licence to process that content solely for the purpose of generating your analysis. We do not claim ownership of your case data.
The FinnAdvisor platform, including its user interface, AI system, analysis templates, and all associated software, is the property of FinnAdvisor and is protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without express written permission.
The analysis generated in response to your case description is provided for your personal use. You may save, print, and share it for the purpose of understanding or pursuing your own legal situation. You may not resell or commercially redistribute AI-generated analysis.
FinnAdvisor provides general legal information only. Nothing on this platform constitutes legal advice, and no attorney-client relationship is formed by your use of the service. Always verify legal citations on finlex.fi before relying on them formally, and consult a licensed Finnish attorney (asianajaja/lakimies) before making decisions with legal consequences.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and accuracy. Finnish law and administrative practice change frequently, and an analysis may not reflect the most recent developments.
This disclaimer does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under the Finnish Consumer Protection Act (Kuluttajansuojalaki) or under EU consumer law. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, FinnAdvisor is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of, or reliance on, the service — including any decision you take on the basis of an AI-generated analysis. FinnAdvisor's total aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid for the service in the three months preceding the claim, or (b) 50 €.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud caused by FinnAdvisor's negligence or wilful misconduct, as Finnish law requires. Nothing in them limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
You may stop using FinnAdvisor and delete your account at any time by contacting support@finnadvisor.fi. We will process account deletion requests within 30 days.
FinnAdvisor may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms or if we discontinue the service. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of service discontinuation where practicable, and will refund any prepaid fees for unused packages.
Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will do so.
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Finland.
For consumers: In accordance with Regulation (EU) 1215/2012 (Brussels I Recast), Articles 17–19, if you are a consumer residing in an EU member state you may bring proceedings against FinnAdvisor either in the courts of Finland or in the courts of your country of residence. FinnAdvisor may bring proceedings against you only in the courts of your country of residence. The mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence apply to the extent that they give you greater protection than these Terms.
For business users: Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Helsinki, Finland.
Language. These Terms and the service are provided in English; translations are offered for convenience only. In case of any discrepancy, the English version prevails and is legally binding.
If you are a consumer and a dispute with FinnAdvisor is not resolved between us, you may use out-of-court dispute resolution before going to court.
A consumer dispute may be referred, free of charge, to the Consumer Disputes Board — Kuluttajariitalautakunta — at www.kuluttajariita.fi. Before referring it, contact the Consumer Advisory Service (kuluttajaneuvonta) of the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority at www.kkv.fi; they will go through the case with you and this is normally a precondition for the Board taking it.
FinnAdvisor undertakes to take part in good faith in any dispute resolution process opened through these bodies.
