FinnAdvisor is an AI-powered tool that analyses Finnish legal situations for immigrants and foreign nationals living in or moving to Finland. By submitting a case description, you receive structured analysis referencing applicable Finnish law, relevant precedents from the Supreme Administrative Court (KHO) and Supreme Court (KKO), and suggested next steps.
The service covers case types including immigration (Migri), population registration (DVV), deportation, Kela benefits, employment discrimination, housing, custody, criminal proceedings, compensation claims, and administrative court appeals.
AI transparency (EU AI Act, Art. 50): All analysis is produced by an artificial intelligence system. You are interacting with an AI, not a human legal professional. By accessing or using FinnAdvisor you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You must be at least 18 years old to use FinnAdvisor. By creating an account you represent that you meet this requirement.
You are permitted to hold one account per person. Accounts must not be shared or transferred. You are responsible for all activity that takes place under your account.
Authentication is passwordless. We send a one-time magic link to your email address each time you sign in. You are responsible for maintaining the security of access to your email account.

Plan limits are based on your purchased package, valid for 3 months from purchase. Unused analyses do not carry over.
FinnAdvisor reserves the right to update pricing with at least 30 days' written notice. Price changes do not affect packages already purchased.
Payments for paid plans are processed by Stripe. By purchasing a paid plan you authorise Stripe to charge your payment method on a one-time purchase basis.
FinnAdvisor does not store your payment card details. All payment information is handled directly by Stripe and subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
All prices are stated inclusive of any applicable VAT. A receipt is provided by Stripe after each payment. A VAT invoice is available on request to support@finnadvisor.fi.
If you are a consumer residing in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have the right under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and Finnish Consumer Protection Act (Kuluttajansuojalaki, Chapter 6) to withdraw from a paid purchase contract within 14 days of entering into the contract, without giving any reason.
Important — waiver of withdrawal right for digital services: FinnAdvisor's paid plan is a digital service that begins immediately upon payment. By completing your purchase, you expressly request that we begin providing the service immediately, and you acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the service has commenced, in accordance with Art. 16(m) of the Consumer Rights Directive and KSL Chapter 6 §14.
If you have not yet used the service after purchasing (i.e., you have not submitted any case for analysis), you retain your 14-day right of withdrawal and may request a full refund within that period by contacting support@finnadvisor.fi.
To exercise your right of withdrawal (where applicable), notify us by email at support@finnadvisor.fi with the subject line "Withdrawal Notice" before the 14-day period expires. You may use the following model statement:
"I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my FinnAdvisor purchase contract. Purchase date: [DATE]. Name: [YOUR NAME]. Email address: [YOUR EMAIL]."
We will confirm receipt and process any applicable refund within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice, using the same payment method as your original payment.
These withdrawal rights are in addition to, and do not affect, any other statutory rights you may have under Finnish or EU consumer law.
You may contact support@finnadvisor.fi at any time regarding your account. Once a package is purchased, your plan remains active until your case and search limits are used or until the 3-month validity period expires, after which your account reverts to the Free Trial plan.
Refund policy: Subject to your statutory right of withdrawal described in Section 6, we do not offer refunds for unused cases or searches once the service has been used.
If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us at support@finnadvisor.fi within 14 days of the charge and we will investigate promptly.
Your statutory rights are not affected by this refund policy. Nothing in this section limits any rights you have under the Finnish Consumer Protection Act (Kuluttajansuojalaki) or applicable EU consumer law.

FinnAdvisor reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these obligations, subject to applicable consumer protection law.
You retain all rights to the case descriptions and information you submit to FinnAdvisor. By submitting content you grant FinnAdvisor a limited, non-exclusive licence to process that content solely for the purpose of generating your analysis. We do not claim ownership of your case data.
The FinnAdvisor platform, including its user interface, AI system, analysis templates, and all associated software, is the property of FinnAdvisor and is protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without express written permission.
The analysis generated in response to your case description is provided for your personal use. You may save, print, and share it for the purpose of understanding or pursuing your own legal situation. You may not resell or commercially redistribute AI-generated analysis.
FinnAdvisor provides general legal information only. Nothing on this platform constitutes legal advice, and no attorney-client relationship is formed by your use of the service. The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or accuracy. Finnish law and administrative practice change frequently; analysis may not reflect the most recent legal developments.
This disclaimer does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under Finnish law (Kuluttajansuojalaki) or EU consumer protection law. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, FinnAdvisor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or reliance on the service, including any decisions you make based on AI-generated analysis. FinnAdvisor's total aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid for the service in the three months preceding the claim, or (b) €50.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud caused by FinnAdvisor's negligence or wilful misconduct, as required by Finnish law. Nothing limits your statutory consumer rights under the Finnish Consumer Protection Act.
You may stop using FinnAdvisor and delete your account at any time by contacting support@finnadvisor.fi. We will process account deletion requests within 30 days.
FinnAdvisor may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, if your account is involved in fraudulent activity, or if we discontinue the service. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of service discontinuation where practicable, and will refund any prepaid fees for unused packages.
Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) will do so.
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Finland.
For consumers: In accordance with Regulation (EU) 1215/2012 (Brussels I Recast), Arts. 17–19, if you are a consumer residing in an EU member state:
For business users: Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Helsinki, Finland.
If you are a consumer and have an unresolved dispute with FinnAdvisor, you have the right to use out-of-court dispute resolution before taking legal action.
Consumer disputes may be submitted free of charge to the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board (Kuluttajariitalautakunta): www.kuluttajariita.fi. Before submitting, you should contact the Finnish Consumer Advisory Service at www.kkv.fi (Kilpailu- ja kuluttajavirasto) for guidance.
